Saving Private Ryan - Movie Review

Saving Private Ryan is an amazing directed movie by Steven Spielberg, personally i think it is one of his best. In this movie it shows what happens when projectiles rip into the soft flesh of the human body and it also shows what the horrors of battle are and the depth of how crazy you go during war. It is a very gory, and it is an unbelievable and unforgettable collection of bloody images throughout the movie.

Steven Spielberg used a lot of movie making methods to make this movie including hand held camera's, speeding up the images, he also made me feel like i was getting dizzy at some points of the movie. I also thought he did a great job with the schemes of colours throughout the movie. Some of the cast in Saving Private Ryan is Tom Hanks, Tom Sizemore, Matt Damon, Edward Burns, Jeremy Davies, Vin Diesel, Adam Goldberg, Barry Pepper.

He grabbed his audiences attention and made it a movie that no one will ever forget about. It is a classic, that will be learned about for generations. This just shows how great of a director Steven Speilberg really is.

Jurasic Park: The Lost World

Jurrasic Park is unreal it is like no onther movie that i have ever seen, about dinasours in the lost times. The special effects in this movie are unbelievable. In this movie you can see digitally created dinosaurs up close, and it's amazing how the director did this, and made it look so real. Steven makes you feel like your in a room full of dinosaurs and makes it so realistic that you feel like its really happening and that you are in a environment where the dinosaurs are really reborn. This movie us among his best. Its so believable even thought its totally not. This movie has a lot of great shots in it. This movie goes thought a lot of vaious, dangerous lenghts.

The difference between these movies and they're simmularities:

- They are both really action pact movies, that make you watch them from minuite 1- 300.

- They have both won alot of awards for the special effects, and they're set design.

- These movies have alot of differences as one is about a war, and the other is about dinosaurs.

- You can tell that they are both directed by Steven Speilberg because they have his " style ". He makes you feel like you need to pay attention to them. They also make you feel like, you can never get up out of your seet because you might miss something.

*Speilberg is an amazing director, and he influences alof of people in the movie making fields.

Taget Audiences Demographics :

-age would range from 16 to 50.

-female and male audiences

-They probably are very vonerable, and easy minded people. They want to watch a Thriller.

- People who are interested in Speilbergs work.

Musical Artist Presention

The Doors

The Doors are a four membered outstanding influential band that were introduced in 1960's. They weren't only famous for they're singing and song writing but their relationship between the audience and them. They sang about peace and love. There has never been a band quite like them. They first signed to Eleckta Records. Some songs that were famous at first for them were, Light My Fire, back Door Man, The End, Five To One and Hello I Love You.

The Doors were also a very unusual band because they didn't have a bass, they had a keyboard, dark poetic lyrics, which made creepy music. They called the lead singer ( Jim Morrison) the Lizard King.

An interesting fact about the Doors is that they pushed boundries against they're audience, they pretended to masturbate and got arrested. They're style is all about the hippie, they dressed with colorful suit jackets, and long flaring pants.
The members that were in the band were:

Jim Morrison - vocals
Ray Manzarek- organ keyboard
Robbie Kreiger- guitarist
John Densmore- drums

The group started in the Los Angeles, CA and were fully formed in 1965. They're band were widely known for the wild poetic lyrics and the enthusiastic, and chaotic stage persona. Throughout they're career there was a death in the band, Jim Morrison died in 1971 from a drug overdose and the three remaining members conti nued for another couple years until 1973 when they split apart. In they're career they sold over 32.5 million albums in the US alone.

This is a song that they wrote and was known for the poetry in it. This is the style that was forming. This is they're first song " Light My Fire"

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light My fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah
The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love
become a funeral pyre

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire

Tv pitch package

TV Show Pitch Package

1. Tim Hoes Lives

This series is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Have you ever wondered what the inside’s like. You go to get your coffee, but do you know who’s making it. Do you know what is going on while they make it? What the drama is inside the coffee shop? What suspense it is to make and deliver your coffee to you? Well this series is about what it’s like to be on the inside and to make you realize that even a small job at Tim Horton’s can cause people to go insane. You are going to witness what goes on, on the inside.

This series is kind of like General Hospital, and Days of our Lives. It’s like these shows because they are revolved around two thing, work and reality. This show is better then these show’s because it’s more in depth, it tells you more, and lets you feel more. You will get to witness the characters actually doing they’re job, and having the suspense building up.

The target market for this show is for middle-aged people. Ranging in age from 20-60. This show monitors characters in their age group, so they’re more apt to watch their own age group. Also it’s in the day of a life with more mature conversations going on. This show is just more of a mature show to watch, in which it would be kind of “boring” for teenagers if they only liked action pact movies. But overall it’s an amazing comedy, romantic, hell raiser one-hour drama that will catch the eye of all.

2. Show Overview

The characters and they’re portrayal to the series.

Heather- Heather is the store manager, who doesn’t let anything by. She see’s and hears everything. She has a temper that ranges from like 0-10 in a split second. She’s known as H’ bomb, or boss. Heather is the one who hires the employees. Some of the interviews that happen in this series are outrageously funny. She is amongst everything that happens in the series. Everything that goes on she’s knows about it. She is who you don’t want to know about your bad work habits.

Karen- Karen is the storeowner. She is very laid back and lets everything past her. Heather pretty much tells her what to do. She gets screwed over a lot on the deals she makes. She has a voice that couldn’t even tell a mouse what to do. She is so nice though, and understands a lot of people’s feelings. She is the “ too nice person” in this series.

Evan- Evan is the Assistant manager. He tries to rule the store. He is a very funny person in where he is always late, and always rocking out. He is the manager that would let something slide, if you were on his good side. He makes customers cry though when he is mad, cause he just can’t take the stress. One line from the series is “ I don’t care if your hung-over at work, as long as your able to serve fast and sufficient”. – That’s our motto.

Keri- Keri is the know it all in which she knows gossip from everybody in the store. She knows what’s happening every minute everywhere. She is very good a drive through and started the 1-10 rating of the guys coming through drive thru game.

Brian- Brian is the main baker. He works his butt off. There are a lot of things that happen to Brian while he is working at Tim Horton’s. Like he breaks his arm by falling off the ladder while getting a box of coffee. He also trips over a rack of muffins. His back is always hurting. But all the daytime ladies love Brian because he is the “ hunk” of the store with an Italian accent. A lot of flirting and trying to get Brian happens between the daytime staff and Brian.

Rita- Rita is the midnight worked. She is actually crazy. The things you do make you want to piss your pants laughing. She makes everything so hard on herself. She freaks out on customers all the time. She is also described to be the BEAST of the store.

Day-time staff –
they work in the store throughout the day, there is many of them. They all bicker and fight towards each other.

There is :

Daytime Staff-

Dawn, Karen, Judy, Connie, Evelyn, Marie, Jane, Sarah, Tonya.

Night Staff-

Caryn, Lex, Tawnie, Danielle, Ricky, Cassy, Dakota, Jordyn, Jake, Erin, Jamie, Christine, Jenna, Crystal and more

Customers- the customers take a huge role in this series, in where the cast is serving them, and they are responding. The whole show is revolved around serving them.

The storyline of this show never really leads up to anything big. It is an ongoing series about people at work and the suspense that goes on during work time.

The setting of this show takes place in Goderich, Ontario. At the Tim Horton’s store number 0732. The Time that this show takes place is throughout the day and night of the workers. It’s open 24/7, so there are always cameras around.

Throughout the seasons of shows there will be new cast members join and some of the cast members will leave. The cast members will leave either because they will be terminated, or they would have quit. They would have came because of having a well done interview with Heather.
As the season goes on there will be verious seasons about customer problems, and heather screaming at people about doing they're job done. Having various trainies and them learning how to actually do their job. Also all the stuff behind the scenes that the customer dont see like, how they play timbit bowling, and how they spray eachother with the water guns.
Also as the seasons goes on the suspense will get more and more intense. This show will be able to make the viewers feel tense.

TARGET AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION

The target audience for this show is male and female spectators. Aging from 20 – 40 years old. They would be people that would be coming home from work ready to relax and watch other people have frustrating lives on the television!

They would be people that like to watch a show about people having problem in they’re lives. They would probably like classical music, and country music. Like the laid back kind of people. They would be probably be middle classed people watching this show. As the show is at prime time it would be easy for them to watch after work and dinner.
